Anjunadeep presents: Reflections Vol. 2 including 10 new tunes

Legendary Anjunadeep imprint now announces the second installment of the Reflections compilation. Anjunadeep presents: Reflections Vol. 2 includes music from Kidnap, Morning U, Croquet Club, Luttrell, lycoriscoris, Luigi Sambuy, Tryst, and Dotmaka.

Reflections Vol. 1 follows the inaugural drop of Volume 1 back in October that has seen artists such as Yotto and Lane 8 deliver incredible productions for the 9-track compilation.

With Anjunadeep presents: Reflections Vol. 2, they wanted to give more space to emerging artists. Ambient, chillout, and downtempo are the vibes expected on this type of collection and we were not disappointed.

Kicking off super slow and chill with REVE D’ELLE and her Don’t Bite, the compilation starts with a very intimate song where D’ELLE’s voice is the host. The piano lines fuse with the second tune, the Acoustic version of Kidnap’s Silence. Expect a very special and private tune, completely driven by the incredible sound of Kidnap’s piano. On the same wavelength, Martin Roth wth his Love Theme. Again the piano is the main performer of the track but this time ambient and cinematic lines flow creating a feeling of nostalgia and depth on the whole production. Jody Wisternoff goes down-tempo and ambient with Morning U, featuring a soft and slow plucked main theme paired with delicate beats. Night Lights could easily be part of a movie soundtrack and Croquet Club have done an outstanding job with this tune.

The second part of Anjunadeep presents: Reflections Vol. 2 opens with Luttrell and his October Song; deep and personal melodic lines paired with a soft and minimal beat make the tune an absolute masterpiece. Lycoriscoris brings some tension to the compilation with Saisei. Balancing profound piano melodies with intense strings the track gives the feeling of an imminent danger that rapidly goes away thanks to the relaxing sounds at the end. Luigi Sambuy brings his interpretation of the sound of the sea with Ocean. Water organic sounds are joined with top plucked melody and deep baseline that perfectly describe the immensity of the ocean. Tryst go in a very different direction with The Bay. The felling-good up-and-down beat perfectly matched with long cinematic lines give that feeling of a safe place to arrive after a stressful day at work. The friendly melodic theme completes this sense of return to home. Last but not least, Dotmaka brings profound and intense lines for Kiss, the closing track of Anjunadeep presents: Reflections Vol. 2.
