Hey all, I’m looking for an underground dark dnb album released around 2008. Sadly I don’t have much to go on.
As far as I know the musician only released a single album after working on it for a decade. Music was his side job and he didn’t do any touring. The album art was grayscale and was of a humanoid figure with lots of sharp edges. Not sure where I found it – but likely on what.cd
The music is dark dnb and relied heavily on samples. Lots of pitched demonic vocal samples (I recall the lyric “deeply disturbed deeply depraved” [and no, I’m not talking about infected mushroom]) and high intensity drums followed slow brooding sections. It reminds me of Amon Tobin’s Foley room in the use of samples and composition. But much darker and squarely dnb.
